S553 Buff Stoneware Clay
    S-553 Buff Stoneware Clay contains fire clay and 7% fine grog and is lightly textured stoneware clay that  is ideal for most techniques.  S-553 Buff Stoneware Clay is ideal for production work when a dark colored body is not desired.  Shown on the left at Cone 4 oxidation the color is a light buff color.  Shown on the right at Cone 6 oxidation becomes a medium buff color.
