S308 Brooklyn Red Clay (Cone 4-8)
    S-308 Brooklyn Red Clay is textured red stoneware clay with 4% sand and 2% grog.  At Cone 4 Oxidation firing yields nearly brick red. Shown on the left at Cone 6 becomes reddish brown with a fine speckling of lighter colors. At Cone 8, shown on the right, the color darkens to a reddish brown, with a moderate speckling of lighter colors.  S-308 Brooklyn Red is perfect for slab and hand building and can be used by potters seeking a high fire red clay for throwing on the wheel.
