S225 Brown Stoneware Clay

S225 Brown Stoneware Clay (Cone 4-6)
    S-225 Brown Stoneware Clay is the same clay as S-112 Speckled Brown Clay without granular manganese.  S-225 Brown Stoneware Clay has 4% fine grog that is ideal for throwing and modeling.  Shown on the left At Cone 4 oxidation the color is a light brown. Shown on the right Cone 6 oxidation the color becomes deeper and darkens to nearly a medium brown.  Good results may also be expected in reduction firings but the clay does not have a broad firing range suitable for Cone 10 reduction.
