S104 Red Clay with Grog (Cone 06-4)
    S-104 clay with Grog is a versatile low fire clay with 12% fine grog it is moderately textured. It has an extended firing range. S-104 clay with Grog is good for hand building or slab work with moderate texture. The large amount of fine grog does not preclude this clay from being thrown on the wheel.   Terra-cotta color at cone 06 oxidation firing shown on left, and nearly dark red at Cone 4 shown right. The addition of grog is the only thing that distinguishes S-104 clay with Grog from S-103 clay.
